“Die Kerkbode” is a South African newspaper that focuses on relevant topics for Christians (visit www.diekerkbode.co.za for more information). There was an article in the paper dated 21 June 2002 about the topic of blasphemy. At a church sermon at the end of June 2002 at “Driehoek Gemeente” at Vanderbijlpark, the local reverent mentioned the article in “Die Kerkbode” and elaborated on the topic of blasphemy. One of the gentlemen attending the service on that particular Sunday morning took the message to heart and undertook to join in the crusade of anti-blasphemy. He subsequently teamed up with two other local Christians and the three of them, all three with active careers in the Information Technology market, decided to create and maintain this web site. The leader of the anti-blasphemy crusade, pastor Jannie Pelser, produces the information on the web site.
